devlog week 6- Ryan Matthews
For this project I worked on the fantastic, wonderful door code that connects to the spawners as well! I'm happy with how that code turned out but disappointed with how it looks. Nothing more work won't fix. I also added more UI elements into the game along with health and score values. The UI elements now pop up and disappear whenever near the correct objects.
I also added a bonus health item that the player can purchase and a 'respawn' mechanic.
I learned how to make channel IDS, and how to make AI spawn systems work, along with how not to make a bunch of door code.
I wish we had time to make a variety of enemy types and I wish we had a time to make a pause menu....whoops.
I think collaboration went well; the only real problem was time.
Side note, the zombies that spawn are now mini for some reason, whoops.
